Spotlight: Useful on the Flat for Andrew Balding, signing off with two 1m6f seconds (both on good to soft) this autumn; changed hands for 52,000gns in October; interesting to see how he fares on stable/hurdle debut.

Spotlight: Out of unraced sister to useful chaser Valseur Du Granval; made all to win five-runner Ascot bumper (good) comfortably by 11l on last month's debut but it's foolish to take that form at face value, given that Brendan Powell was allowed to build up a huge lead and effectively stole the race; hooded for this hurdling debut.

Spotlight: Career-best Flat form when narrow winner at Newmarket (1m4f, good; RPR 87) for Ben Brookhouse in September; not sure to be suited by today's slower ground but, having changed hands for £24,000, has travelled from Cheshire to make stable/hurdle debut here.

Spotlight: Bumper winner; beaten about 34l when second on seasonal/hurdle debut at Fontwell (2m3f, good to soft) in October and left behind by front pair when third at Lingfield (2m, good to soft) last month; improvement required.

Spotlight: Kept on for respectable third on debut at Downpatrick (2m1f, yielding) in October and also showed promise when fifth (albeit well held in the end) at Galway (2m, yielding) later that month; considered each-way.

Spotlight: Irish point winner; had wind op after inauspicious rules debut in October and fared better when fourth of six at Ffos Las (1m7f, soft; first-time tongue-tie) last month but still makes very limited appeal here.

Spotlight: Kept on for respectable fourth of 13 in Chepstow bumper in November 2024 but spoiled chance by persistently hanging right at Ffos Las in April; hooded for this seasonal/hurdle debut; best watched.
